Nordic walking with Cancer
Vicky (one of our instructors) runs a weekly ‘drop in’ session for people with cancer and their supporters. It is open to both beginners and regular walkers and runs every Tuesday afternoon at Penny Brohn, Ham Green, Bristol. Nordic walking helps with a range of side effects often caused by cancer treatment including balance, peripheral neuropathy and lymph drainage.

Nordic walking for general rehabilitation
Nordic walking is a great way to get back into exercise after an operation or illness. It can benefit people with bad backs, arthritis and depression. It can also help with recovery post surgery including hip, knee and abdomen.
