Nordic walking through bluebells
Thursday 10th May 10am - 12.30pm
Meeting Point:
Tyntesfield, BS48 1NX

We run this walk every year and it's always enjoyed by everyone who comes on it.  Prior's Wood was once part of the Tyntesfield estate and has a fabulous bluebell and wild garlic wood together with a stream and plenty of oak and chestnut trees.  The bluebells and wild garlic should be close to their best at the beginning of May.

We've created a mostly circular loop, starting and finishing at the magnificent National Trust owned Tyntesfield.  There are toilet facilites there plus a lovely cafe if you want to stop for a drink/some food afterwards.

We have allowed 2.5 hours for this walk, which is roughly 5.5 miles long.  This will give you time to stop and enjoy the flowers.  In terms of difficulty it will be similar to our 2 hour stamina walks.  One thing to note - if it's been wet, Prior's Wood can be very muddy in places - although probably nothing worse than Blaise!
