Bath skyline walk
Sunday 26th August 2018 10am - 1pm

The Bath skyline walk is six miles of way-marked footpaths high above Bath in a beautiful rural setting.  Secluded valleys, pretty meadows and ancient woodlands are interspersed with extensive views over Bath and out towards the Blackdown Hills.

If you have never done this walk before it is well worth booking onto.  Not just for a new perspective of Bath but also for the archaeological sites of interest along the way including Roman settlements, eighteenth-century follies and the Iron Age fort on Little Solsbury Hill.

Sarah, our Bath instructor, will be leading this walk.  The terrain is varied and includes meadows, woods, surfaced paths, a rocky uneven section and a some steep hills. Good fitness is required.  As a measure, if you do our two hour stamina walks reasonably comfortably you should enjoy this three hour walk.

No dogs please.

Cost: Members £18, Non members £24
