Bath Skyline Walk Bath Nordic Walking
Sunday 24th March 10am
Meeting Point:
The Holburne Museum, Great Pulteney Street, Bath, BA2 4DB (Car Park)

Overlooking one of the UK’s most beautiful and historic cities, the Bath Skyline Walk is the most downloaded walk on the National Trust website. This Nordic walk has the ability to take you into another world, onto the skyline hills above Bath and beyond, through 7 miles of meadows and ancient woodlands to secluded valleys. Dipping in and out of woodlands and across peaceful meadows, you will take in a variety of historical sites, including an Iron Age fort at Solsbury Hill and the 18th-century folly of Sham Castle. The views, needless to say, are spectacular.

If you have never done this walk before we would highly recommend it, plus it is an effective training walk for those doing any distance in the Bath Beat. Our Bath instructor Sarah will lead you on waymarked trails, through hidden valleys, tranquil woodlands and a patchwork of meadows rich in wildlife.

This walk may include some muddy sections so please wear shoes/boots with a good tread. Fitness level - you need to be able to comfortably walk for 3-4 hours on varied terrain.
