Nordic walking uses specially designed poles which exercise your upper body as well as your lower body, so your walk transforms into a total body workout. It will strengthen your core and back, burn calories and help trim and tone.
When you Nordic walk with us you can join any of our popular daily hour-long fitness walks which exercise and tone your body, all in the great outdoors. Using Nordic walking poles give you a fantastic fitness boost!
To get you started our experienced instructors will teach you the correct technique at a Beginner Workshop. This group will be up to 6 people and will last just over an hour. It's great fun, friendly and don't worry about your fitness level. You can take it at your own pace.

We are a Covid-safe company adhering to strict guidelines. If government advice means any Nordic walks are cancelled we will automatically credit your Nordic walking account with any walks you had booked. Unused walks will not be lost.

All cancellations will be automatically credited to your Bristol Nordic Walking account which you can then use towards another Beginner Workshop. Please note you will not receive any credit if you cancel within 24 hours of the start of your workshop.
If you would prefer a refund to your credit/debit card please let us know. It will be subject to a 1.4% +20p fee for european cards and a 2.9% + 20p fee for non-european cards.
For the Workshop just wear flexible shoes for walking and layers to keep warm and dry. Sunglasses/hat if it's hot. We can advise you from there.
Our instructors always have Nordic walking poles that walkers can use for free. We give advice if you want to buy poles.
Our workshops cater for most levels of fitness. If you can walk, you can Nordic walk.
