In 2014 I moved to Clevedon and after a few months noticed an advert in the local magazine for Nordic Walking in North Somerset. I decided to give it a go and have never looked back. I have knee and back problems but Nordic Walking enables me to exercise and be outside both of which I love and I think it is essential to our health and wellbeing. I still spend 4 days sitting at a desk and Nordic Walking is fantastic for improving my posture and getting those shoulders back. I have had a dog for the last 8 years who also needs a lot of exercise although as she is 11 now it is a lot less than when I got her. The joy of being outside whatever the weather is something that she taught me and how it can change your state and release the stress of the day.
I relish this opportunity that I have been given to share my passion for Nordic Walking, being outside and the numerous health benefits that it brings us. I will strive to become the best instructor that I can be and look forward to sharing this journey with you.
